$1M HUD Grant Awarded to Shreveport
The City of Shreveport was recently awarded a $1M Choice Neighborhoods Action Activity grant by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to help local neighborhoods lacking affordable housing. Shreveport was one of 64 applications submitted for the grant and one of ten cities across the nation that will receive the grants totaling $8 million.
